Suji Ka Halwa

A traditional desi dish that can be eaten for breakfast, for dessert or just a snack!

The perfect pick me up dessert during the winters and summers alike. It's quick to make and results in a luxurious dish which will always leave you wanting more!
Ingredients
220 g fine semolina
220 g butter
220 g sugar
Kettle of hot water
Method
1) In a wide pan add semolina and add the butter, sauté semolina until mixture turns a light golden brown.
2) Add hot water and stir vigorously until the halwa is smooth and has no lumps, add sugar and continue stirring until all mixture has bound together.
Serve on a platter or individual dessert bowls and dress with gold leaf/almonds and pistachios.
